Insisting on Design Innovation

Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Beijing, Med-Zenith is an innovative medical device manufacturer specializing in three core cardiovascular disorder segments: congenital heart disease (CHD), valvular heart disease (VHD), and atrial fibrillation (AF). Centered on unmet clinical demands, the company develops high-performance equipment and premium implantable medical devices, delivering comprehensive interventional and surgical treatment solutions for cardiologists and cardiovascular patients.

Technical and Quality Strength

1. Congenital Heart Disease

Guided by the clinical philosophy of full-lifecycle care covering neonatal interventions, core products include the Pul-Stent® Pulmonary Artery Stent and the PT-Valve® Transcatheter Pulmonary Valve. Pul-Stent® is the world’s first dedicated stent approved for pulmonary artery stenosis treatment. The PT-Valve® is a domestically developed transcatheter pulmonary valve with China’s largest implantation volume and broadest indication coverage. Supported under a national key R&D program of the 13th Five-Year Plan (MOST), this product has entered the NMPA’s Special Approval Channel for Innovative Medical Devices and is now under technical review. It is expected to obtain marketing approval by the end of 2026, making it the fourth commercially launched transcatheter pulmonary valve worldwide. This product line addresses long-term clinical management demands for complex congenital heart defects, delivers distinct clinical value, and boasts steadily expanding market potential.

2. Valvular Heart Disease

Flagship products include the Easy-Knot® Sterile Clip Device and the HRT Valve Transvalvular Bridge. As the first domestically developed product of its kind and the second globally to obtain marketing clearance, Easy-Knot® replaces conventional hand-tied suturing, significantly boosting the efficiency and standardization of cardiac valve procedures. Driven by population aging, the valvular heart disease market features a large patient population with high treatment affordability, representing one of the company’s key medium- and long-term revenue growth pillars.

3. Atrial Fibrillation & Stroke Prevention

Following the integrated clinical strategy of cardiac-cerebral co-management and interventional prophylaxis against stroke, the company provides a full solution portfolio for atrial fibrillation, consisting of the C-Clip® Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure System, Fidus® LAA Occluder, and surgical radiofrequency ablation systems.

C-Clip® is the world’s second domestically developed LAA closure system approved for the prevention of cardioembolic stroke in AF patients. The surgical radiofrequency ablation series for atrial fibrillation is the only domestically manufactured product of its kind and the third globally, breaking the long-standing market monopoly of U.S. imported products and enabling substantial substitution by domestic alternatives. Given China’s vast AF patient population and substantial room to raise standardized treatment rates, this business line bears strong unmet clinical demands and high commercialization potential.
